The strip & replate option offers you savings both in cost and time, being an environment friendly alternative to purchasing new tools every time. Our stripping system allows a tool blank to be stripped and recoated as many as a 100 times over  before loosing .0000001" of the surface. Compared to the cost of complete new wheels, you can save as much as 70% of the original price. This same pricing applies also if you make your own blanks to be coated.

Virtually any tool, including the custom made specials, can be stripped and recoated, unless the core is badly damaged. Frequently, we can also give you some credit for the abrasive still left on the tool. Refer to the page titled "grit sizes" for a suitable grit for your grinding needs.
